These classes are intended for all ages and are a perfect way to start your weekend.
Join me at the Toolbox Collective on Saturday mornings from 10-12.
Stamp making- February 21
Using pink erasers and EZ cut soft pritmaking blocks we will design, carve and print our own handmade stamps. I'll have paper and cardstock available to print your stamps and create cards, signs or wall art.
Best for ages 8 and up (age suggestion for using sharp carving tools... you know your young people best and if they can handle sharp tools).
Observational Drawing for EVERYONE -March 21
Drawing is a learned skill. We build skills through practice and developing concrete tools to observe our world. In this class we'll use everyday objects as our creative inspiration and teach our eyes and hands to work in tandem.
All ages welcome
Paper Marbling - April 18
Use ink and water to create a series of decorative papers for use in future collages, bookbinding projects, or cards. This ancient Japanese technique, called Suminagashi, creates soft, organic patterns on paper. The process is calm, meditative, and easy to learn.
All ages welcome.
What's included?
-All materials used in class
-A super supportive community of artists to create with each week (beginners and first-timers welcome)
