We'll start each class with some instruction and a creative prompt to take away any fear over that dreaded empty piece of white paper. When the weather allows we'll move outside to the gazebo and garden area to use our surroundings as inspiration and a chance to dig into observational techniques.
We'll follow our curiosity and lean into observations AND learn foundational knowledge, and concrete techniques. My goal is for you to leave these sessions feeling a little more centered and peaceful and empowered to keep exploring the medium on your own.

What's included?
-All materials used in class (feel free to bring your own if you have favorites) including watercolors, gouache, brushes, and paper.
-Warm or cold beverages depending on vibes and weather
-Weekly prompts to make a blank sheet of paper less intimidating and get you creating.
-A super supportive community of artists to create with each week (beginners and first-time painters welcome)
-Instruction and support from Meg.
